Good For You Blog

In my role as a junior copywriter at PINE Philly, I took on a dynamic challenge by spearheading the blog content creation for the PA Good Campaign, a commendable initiative focused on promoting Pennsylvania parks and recreational activities. Tasked with crafting engaging and informative blogs, I committed to delivering a fresh piece each week over the span of two months.

Copy for a Rebrand

In this pivotal project, I assumed the role of crafting the compelling narrative for the rebrand of Penguin Random House, aptly named "Reading Retro." The challenge was not just about revamping a brand but infusing it with a distinct personality that resonates with a diverse audience. Channeling a fusion of vintage charm and youthful exuberance, I created a written landscape that transcends time, inviting readers into a world where classic meets contemporary.

The essence of "Reading Retro" extended beyond a mere visual overhaul. It encapsulated a narrative journey through the nostalgic corridors of literature, employing a writing style that echoed the timeless elegance of vintage literature while embracing the vibrant energy of today's youth. Each word and phrase was meticulously chosen to evoke a sense of familiarity and excitement, creating an immersive experience that beckons readers to rediscover the magic of storytelling.

This endeavor showcased my proficiency in crafting copy and demonstrated my ability to harmonize disparate elements — the sophistication of vintage literature and the vivacity of modern youth culture. The result was more than a rebrand; it was a narrative transformation, breathing new life into a beloved literary institution and inviting readers to embark on a journey where the past and present converge in a beautifully written tapestry.
